Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Win His 'n' Hers Gongs At People's Choice Awards

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were rewarded with a gong each last night at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles. 

Although not there to pick up their trophies, Brad was named favourite leading man at the ceremony, while Angelina was voted favourite female action star.

Kate Hudson was also a big winner, picking up the prize for favourite leading lady.

Meanwhile Reese Witherspoon was named favourite female movie star.

Katherine Hiegl's 27 Dresses won the favourite movie comedy but in music news Carrie Underwood swept the board, picking up 3 awards.

The country star was named the favourite singer under 35, and collected a trophy for song Last Name.

Other winners included Chris Brown for favourite male singer, Jordin Sparks for her song No Air, Heath Ledger and Christina Bale for The Dark Knight and Will Smith for favourite male action star.
