Jennifer Aniston And John Mayer's Love Song

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have been getting creative by declaring their feelings through the medium of song and poetry.

The former Friends star is said to have written a lengthy poem for her beau which he then transformed into song to serenade her with.

"He changed it poem a little bit to make it more lyrical," an insider told Star.

"But it's all John Mayer style, so it sounds good.

"She said, 'It was only a little something I wrote down for you, and you made it beautiful.' And then she joked, 'Do I get the publishing rights?' "

Ironically John is said to have twisted the lyrics to highlight their controversial break-up.

The lyrics read: "Lucky in love, lucky in love, didn't forget me when I asked you to leave me."

"Didn't forget me/ Now you're alongside me/ You've brought luck to love/ I've been hit by a truck in love."
