Britney Spears has reportedly been shying away from the rehearsal studio because she fears she can no longer cut it on the dance floor.

The pop princess - whose performances in Europe and the UK were slated for being lacklustre - is said to be in a panic at the prospect of dancing in front of millions on her upcoming world tour.

A source told Us Weekly magazine, "She missed some early dance practices and wasn't dedicated about turning up at meetings."

And now that her ex-choreographer Wade Robson has been brought on board to help, she is said to be even more scared about showing off her half-baked moves.

The source added, "She didn't want him to see that she's not as good as she used to be."

Britney's anxiety also comes at a tough time with reports that her father Jamie has been given permanent conservatorship over her assets.
