Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were every inch the cute couple at the L.A. Lakers game last night.

The pair - who are rarely seen in public together - enjoyed the basketball game from courtside seats as they chatted and joked with each other.

The couple seemed enthralled by the game, even getting to their feet to cheer on their team.

Reese - who has two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe - has been taking it slow with Jake since they started dating in 2007.

But it looks like she is ready to show off her man
