Zac Efron had better watch out because Robert Pattinson looks set to challenge the HSM star for the title of world's premiere young heartthrob.

With Twilight one of the most talked about films of 2008, English stud Robert has been driving a sizeable proportion of the female population wild.

Meanwhile, Zac is used to the fame High School Musical has brought him, as well as the attention from having Vanessa Hudgens hanging on his arm.

And it turns out Rob has a lot more in common with his younger counterpart - they both really care about the styling of their long luscious locks.

So is Zac ready to step aside for Rob?

Rob is more grown-up and less priggish i would say.. i watched and read several interviews with him, and god, he is adorable! it's a pity he's that famous though..means there's no chance for me to get to know him without looking like a bimbo... nevertheless, he's the winner :)

I love both of them, though Zac more because he is truly the sweetest guy I have ever met, and he is such a dork too. But I'm going to have to say neither, because both guys are too good to be the fodder of obsessive teenage, fan-girls.
