Britney Spears may be raking it in from her recent comeback but she doesn't seem to be splashing her cash on a her wardrobe.

The popstar touched down at LAX airport in L.A. in the same outfit she wore on the outward-bound journey to Tokyo a week ago.

During her latest promotional trip, Britney performed on Japanese TV in an eye-popping sequinned bra and hotpants combo.

But on the way home, she was back in her black and white checked jacket, accessorised with an orange.

Britney's obviously being sensible and packing light - or maybe it's because daddy is holding on tight to the purse strings?
