Britney Spears' treated viewers to an eyeful while performing on Japanese TV last night.

The Womanizer star's choice of outfit - a sequinned bra and hotpants - left her a little over-exposed as she performed on NTV's Best Music Artist show.

The singer is on the latest leg of her globe-spanning promotional tour for new album Circus.

After her performance she was asked if she had a message for her Japanese fans.

She replied to the mostly Buddhist crowd, "Have a Happy Christmas."
