Tom Cruise has been talking up daughter Suri as she ditches the baby babble for some grown up talk. 

The megastar - who recently praised the press for their creative shots of his daughter -  says that Suri's range of vocab is increasing everyday.

"Her vocabulary is incredible," Tom told People at the New York premiere of Valkyrie.

But it seems Suri's simple declarations are what Tom appreciates the most: "I love hearing 'I love you, dada,' or, 'I love you, mama.'"

And the outspoken tot isn't afraid of being opinionated either, after she informed her Golden Globe-nominated father that his Santa impression was a fail.

Tom said, "She looked at me and said, 'No, Dada.'"
