Britney Spears Starving Herself For Attention?

Britney Spears is reportedly starving herself in a bid to gain control of her life and get her father Jamie's attention.

The pop princess is said to be fed up with her dad's regimented schedule and wants to break free from her life - which she recently compared to a 'prison'.

Britney hopes that by cutting out breakfast and dinner she will lose a drastic amount of weight and the people around her will give her the attention she craves.

A source told The People.co.uk, "Britney thinks that if she doesn't eat much she will lose weight, then people will notice.

"Then she thinks she will get to make her own decisions once again."

The source added that Britney and Jamie do not see eye to eye: "All he is doing is looking out for her but she doesn't see it like that.

"She thinks he is doing it to be irritating. So she has decided that she will protest by not eating."
