It seems that Suri Cruise has finally acquired her mother's love for rolled-up denim jeans.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's tot has finally agreed to start wearing pants, after insisting on wearing nothing but dresses.

The two-year old was snapped in jeans while accompanying her mum to the Broadway threatre where Katie is performing in All My Sons.

Proud dad Tom recently revealed that no matter how hard he tries to get Suri into trousers, his daughter always insists on wearing more feminine clothes.

"I'd put a pair of pants on her and the next minute and turn around and the pants are off and a dress is on," Tom tells Australian Grazia."

"Kate showed her these nice gold sneakers and said: 'They're nice mommy but they're boy's shoes.' So she's very much a real girl.
