It looks like Eva Longoria is back to her best after plumping up for her role on Desperate Housewives.

The actress showed off her slimmed-down frame in a clinging blue dress on a shopping trip in L.A. 

Earlier this year Eva swapped exercise for an eat-as-much-as-you-like routine to play a dowdy incarnation of Gabrielle Solis in the hit TV show.

Her weight gain sparked an endless round of pregnancy rumours, prompting Eva to insist that her so-called baby bump was just fat.

With her cropped hair replaced by long extensions, it looks like Eva is on her way to getting her old look back.
