Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are spreading their good will with a very generous donation to the Global Action For Children.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has given $100,000 to the charity in the run up to Christmas to help under-privileged children around the world.

The charity's executive director Jennifer Delaney said in a statement, "With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world.

"Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child."

Brad was recently in New Orleans on behalf of his Make It Right Foundation, which raises money to build homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
