As competition between Disney's hottest teen stars heats up, Selena Gomez has only kind words to say about her rival Miley Cyrus.

The 16-year-old - who is rumoured to be dating Miley's ex Nick Jonas - sings the praises of her Mickey Mouse pal even after Miley's cruel taunts on YouTube.

Selena says, "We are one big family at Disney. You end up friends with people even if they’re in a different show.

And speaking about Miley's stint on the U.K.'s X Factor Selena gushes, "I really wanted to watch Miley on the X Factor because I love her!

"She did great."
