Britney Spears' alleged cousin Alli Sims is still defending Britney even after their once close relationship turned sour earlier this year.

Alli - who is also Britney's former assistant - says that the people around her are only interested in Britney the piggy bank not Britney the person.

She told In Touch, “How can they say Britney is sick and then shove her out on the road, with all that pressure?”

Alli may still be willing to defend her longtime friend and 'relative' but she still hasn't forgot the past: “I have been accused of so many things I didn’t do.

"My reputation has been dragged through the mud.”

Estranged Alli was accused by Britney's parents of making matters worse when their daughter fell ill.
