Fresh from performing in front of millions on TV on Good Morning America Britney Spears wrapped up to turn on the Christmas lights in New York.

The birthday girl looked stunning as she took to the stage at the Rockefellar centre in a warm double breasted black coat for the switch-on, which was filmed for broadcast on NBC.

Wearing her hair in a pretty up-do style, Britney turned on the lights for the pretaping of the 76th Rockefeller Centre Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

The popstar then later went to club Tenjune for her new CD release party and birthday do.
