Jennifer Husdon's brother-in-law has been charged for the murders of the Oscar winning actress' family.

Police announced the arrest of William Balfour yesterday for the massacre of Jennifer's mother Darnell Donnerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King.

Tragedy struck the Hudson family in October in their home town of Chicago with suspect William immediately being taken in for questioning.

Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Monique Bond said, "We have obtained an arrest warrant for William Balfour.

"He was released to Chicago detectives."

On Sunday Jennifer thanked her fans on her MySpace page, "I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

"My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern."
