Nicole Kidman has dismissed rumours she is expecting her second child after giving birth to Sunday Rose in July of this year.

The actress - who was on home turf to promote new movie Australia - told an Aussie radio station that it was simply genes that had contributed to her 'little tummy'.

Nicole told Kyle and Jackie O on Sydney's 2DAY F.M.,"No, I just have a little tummy.

"My god, I just had a baby four months ago – give me a break!"

She added, "I think I've always had a little tummy, though, it runs in the family.

"My sister does, my mum does, my grandmother did...We affectionately refer to it as the 'little tummy.' "
