Miley Cyrus Is Sweet Sixteen And All Grown Up At The American Music Awards

Miley Cyrus looked every inch the glamourous starlet as she celebrated her sixteenth birthday at the American Music Awards.

The Hannah Montana star was the centre of attention on her big day, receiving a backstage surprise in the form of a multi-layered cake to kick off her birthday celebrations.

The cake was decorated with the number 16 in bright pink icing and read 'Happy Birthday Miley.'

The young star debuted a new grown up look at the event, with the help of a figure-hugging boob-tube dress that proves she is rapidly outgrowing her Disney teen star image.

Other Disney stars that added some glamour to the Miley V.I.P party included the Jonas brothers, Ashley Tisdale and Demi Lovato.
