The hotly anticipated sci-fi blockbuster Star Trek is back - and it's practically X-rated.

A trailer for the new movie shows Captain Kirk getting hot and steamy with a mystery female crew member.

It's definitely raunchy enough to raise Spock's pointy eyebrows even higher!

The clip also shows the Starship Enterprise's communications officer, Uhura, played by Zoe Saldana, performing a sexy strip show in a bedroom.

According to Chris Pine, who plays Captain Kirk, director J.J. Abrams has turned up the heat inside the Enterprise for the new instalment.

"It's trying to be sexed up for a new generation that really isn't used to seeing Star Trek," Pine said.

"It's a whole new beast."

Pine also said that Uhura's scene is one to be remembered.

"It'll become famous," he said of the striptease.

The film, due out next year, features Heroes star Zachary Quinto as Spock and Simon Pegg as Scotty.
