It seems Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson's gay relationship doesn't have the blessing of the country of Dubai.

The couple were joined by a galaxy of stars including Kylie Minogue and Charlize Theron for the posh £15 million launch party of the Atlantis resort - but Lindsay and Sam have been given separate rooms for the duration of their visit in the Muslim country.

And it seems the DJ has been forced to rough it while her actress girlfriend lives the high life.

The Mean Girls actress and Oscar-winning Charlize have been housed in the Apex Hotel's Lost Chamber Suites, which boast views straight into an underwater Lagoon with 65,000 marine animals.

Poor Sam, meanwhile, comes far lower down in the hierarchy of V.I.P's and has been languishing in the plush Queen room.
