Paris Hilton and Benji Madden consoled themselves with a night of partying - apart - after announcing their split yesterday.

The heiress was spotted looking sombre as she left the Crown Bar in West Hollywood by herself last night.

It seems that ex-beau Benji is coping with the break-up a little better though - he partied late into the night with a male friend at Bardout.

Paris is said to have dumped her ex because of his controlling nature.
