Nicole Kidman is raring ahead of current Mrs Tom Cruise Katie Holmes in the motherhood stakes. 

The actress - who is currently in Sydney promoting her new film Australia - seems to have been bitten by the baby bug after giving birth to daughter Sunday Rose in June.

Nicole told reporters, "I'm in a place in my life where I've had some great opportunities, and I may just choose to have some more children.

"There's many things I want to do besides act."

Not long ago Nicole was urging Katie Holmes to have another child after her eldest son Connor expresed his desire to have a baby brother.
