Britney Spears: 'I'm A Prisoner Of Fame'

An emotional Britney Spears admits that she is a long way from happiness in an upcoming documentary about her weary life.

The former troubled star – who is currently gearing up the December 2 release of new album Circus – speaks candidly in upcoming documentary Britney: For The Record about getting to to grips with her controversial past.

Britney tells MTV News, “There’s no excitement, there’s no passion.
 
“I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out.

“But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.”

She adds, “I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free.”
