Brad Pitt's moustache got him into a bit of bother when he showed up late to a screening in L.A. last night.

The security guard on the door didn't recognise the actor beneath his new facial hair and proceeded to manhandle the star away from the venue.

Brad was less than bemused at the bodyguard's tackle and left the theatre in a huff without staying to see the film.

The Fight Club star – who is sporting more facial hair than usual – is keeping his top lip warm for a role in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
