Britney Spears' Son Jayden Leaves Hospital After 'Allergic Reaction'

Britney Spears has released a statement explaining why her son Jayden James was frantically rushed to hospital at the weekend.

The two-year-old was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday after lapsing into an incoherent state at a family reunion.

But it seems that Jayden just had a severe case of food poisoning.

Britney's people posted the following statement on her official website:

"Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th.

“Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."

Britney left hospital clutching Jayden in her arms on Monday evening.
