Britney Spears and sons Jayden James and Sean Preston touched down in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana this weekend for a Spears family reunion.

Taking time out from promotional duties, the formerly troubled star boarded a private jet on Friday with her boys and father Jamie.

Britney – whose ex husband Kevin Federline has sole custody of their children – was granted permission to leave the state with her sons for the first time since her very public breakdown.

According to US reports, the pop princess is going home to recharge her batteries before her album Circus is released next month.
