Lindsay Lohan reportedly pulled out of hosting the World Music Awards because girlfriend Samantha Ronson was jealous of co-host Jesse Metcalfe.

The Mean Girls star – whose relationship with Sam has been rumoured to be on the rocks lately – was lined up to host the event with the Desperate Housewives star - until she mysteriously backed out.

According to UK reports, Sam couldn't bear the thought of her girl getting close to another man, prompting Lindsay to duck out of her hosting duties.

Actress Denise Richards stepped into fill Lindsay's shoes but she has also been replaced by Michelle Williams after suddenly bailing.
