Brad Pitt shed tears of joy for Barack Obama last night as he made history, becoming the US' first African-American President.
The 44th President of the United States addressed the crowds at Chicago's Grant Park behind bullet proof glass, as both stars and the general public looked on in awe.
Obama said, "If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer."
He added, "It’s been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America."
Joining fellow Democrat supporter Brad was Oprah Winfrey who also shed a tear at the triumphant news, according to US reports.
