Samantha Ronson has entered into a vicious war of words with former jailbird and video mogul Joe Francis, who insists that the DJ is 'controlling' girlfriend Lindsay Lohan.

According to Sam, the Girls Gone Wild founder – who has built an empire based on persuading drunken girls take their tops off – kickstarted the feud by ignoring her at the Video Music Awards.

She told Page Six, "He said hello to Lindsay and looked over at me as if I wasn't a human being. He's got no manners.

"I think he's one of the more disgusting human beings in the world because of what he does...He's a  d***he bag."

Joe followed up Sam's rant with his very own tongue-lashing on the Tyra Banks Show, saying Sam is, "very jealous.”
 
He added, “Samantha tried to start a fight with me. I care about Lindsay - she's not gay. She's being controlled by this...wretched woman, this Samantha."
