We've had Sarah Palin the porn star and Sarah Palin the craggy Halloween witch – now meet Sarah Palin the comic strip baddie!

The US Vice Presidential hopeful has a starring role in the latest issue of cult comic book series Tales from the Crypt.

On the front cover, an angry-looking Palin flashes acres of cleavage as she fends off a bunch of ghouls with her weapon of choice – an oversized hockey stick.

Wearing her Palin/McCain campaign badge with pride, she says: "Didn't we get rid of you guys in the '50s?"

The cover is a subtle protest against censorship and allegations that Palin tried to ban books from a library when she was mayor of her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska.
