Zac Efron: 'I Shower All The Time'

Zac Efron has hit back over claims he doesn't wash – insisting that he showers, sometimes twice a day.

The HSM3 star – who is dating Vanessa Hudgens – was recently criticised for relying on wet wipes to see him through a gruelling 12-hour day on set .

Yet Zac tells Moviefone.com, "I assure you I showered this morning - minutes before I got here.
 
“And I do it every day. Sometimes twice. So, that's kind of funny. But my dad was kind of like razzing me for it. I can't help but laugh!"

Zac's co-star Ashley Tisdale recently backed up her buddy saying, "He's the cleanest person I know."
