Chace Crawford does his best James Dean impression on the cover of the first ever Winter issue of VMAN magazine.

The Gossip Girl star is almost unrecognisable with matinee idol make up and his usually floppy hair slicked back into a 50s-style quiff.

The stunning images were captured for the magazine by celebrated photographer Mario Testino.

Says VMAN editor Jesse Ashlock: “Chace embodies the kind of emerging star VMAN strives to celebrate.
