It was a hair-raising moment when John Travolta debuted his latest attempt to disguise his thinning locks.

Travolta reunited with Grease co-star Olivia Newton John to captain the new Qantas A380 airbus - the world's biggest aircraft - on Monday.

But their mile high adventure was overshadowed by what appeared to be the actor's spray-on hair.

Poor John. What next, extensions?

  • I've seen worse hair on younger men. He should probably go a little more grey or lighter, though.
