Madonna has called her soon-to-be ex-husband Guy Ritchie an 'emotional retard' while on stage in concert.
Introducing her song Miles Away at her Sticky and Sweet gig in Boston, the pop queen told the audience: "This song is for the emotionally retarded. Maybe you know some people who fall into that category. I know I do."
It was later confirmed by her spokesperson that Madge's comment referred to Guy.
This attack on the film director is the first public blow to come from the singer since the pair announced they were to divorce yesterday.
The star had previously stated that tune Miles Away was inspired by her British hubby - as they spent a lot of time apart.
