Matthew McConaughey had to delay the start of his cross-country road trip when his truck broke down yesterday.

The Failure To Launch star was all set to leave for vacation with girlfriend Camilla Alves and baby daughter Levi when his motor failed to start.

The new dad had to call a mechanic to sort out his car trouble.

As much as we sympathise with the McConaughey family, it was nice seeing Matthew getting greasy and showing off his muscles as he tried to fix his trailer.

The actor purchased the luxurious Airstream International in 2004, which boasts a compact living space complete with bedroom, bath, shower, dining and lounge areas and a streamlined kitchen.
