Madonna And Guy Ritchie: It's Over

Madonna and her husband of eight years Guy Ritchie are reportedly set to release a statement confirming that their marriage is over.

The Queen of pop and her husband – who have been subject to rumours of a split for months -  are finalising their divorce by Christmas, according to a UK publication.

The couple are said to have called it a day on their once-solid union over constant rows about their busy careers and Madonna's desire to adopt another baby.

A source told The Sun: “It’s very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn’t live together any more.”

Madonna reportedly wanted to keep the news quiet until after her Sticky and Sweet tour had finished but the pair simply couldn't stand the pretence any longer.
