Vanessa Hudgens is feeling starstruck after receiving some pearls of wisdom about fame from none other than Tom Cruise.
The High School Musical actress told a US network that she thinks the Top Gun star is amazing and she received really good advice from him.
Vanessa told Access Hollywood, "Tom was so sweet and such a nice guy.
"Just telling me there isn't much that you can do about being in the limelight. It's just part of your life now, so you have to accept it. He is an amazing guy and I look up to him."
As for how they met, throw in Victoria Beckham, a Spice Girls concert, Tom, Katie Holmes and Suri and the rest is history:
"I was at a Spice Girls concert because Victoria invited me and Suri, Kate and Tom walk in...and I got to talk to them, they are all really great people."
