Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt And The Kids Touch Down In France

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have touched down in Nice, France, after their whirlwind trip to the U.S.

The couple had previously indicated they would like to return to their 1,000-acre 35 bedrooms estate in the South France at the end of their Stateside work commitments.

Angelina made her first post-twins public appearance during at the premiere of new movie Changeling during their U.S. stay.

The family also visited New Orleans, where Brad continued his work with his Make It Right charity project which has been building houses in New Orleans.

"With just a handful of weeks before the presidential election, they wanted to subtly remind everyone that New Orleans is still in recovery mode," says a friend of the couple.

"Their visit right now was not an accident. They knew by popping into town, with pictures of Brad walking through the damaged neighborhoods, New Orleans would again be in the headlines.

"They are very savvy that way."
