According to the latest reports Amy Winehouse is not planning her own demise.

The soul singer's rep has gone on the record saying that Amy is doing okay - quashing any rumours that she wants to follow in the footsteps of rocker Sid Vicious and die young.

Her rep told People magazine earlier today that Amy is, “just fine” and she and Mark Ronson are in talks to feature on Quincy Jones tribute album.

Amy was spotted out looking more sober than usual with her father Mitch Winehouse at the Dorchester last night.

Mitch was in the news earlier this week when he reportedly received threatening letters from her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

That might have made an awkward dinner table conversation.
