David Duchovny has left the rehab clinic that he checked into 2 months ago to treat his sex addiction.

The actor - who is married to actress Tea Leoni - voluntarily checked into a clinic in August, asking for privacy while he dealt with the problem.

"David has successfully completed his rehabilitation," his lawyer told Usmagazine.com.

"He is out of rehab and will be starting a movie soon.”

It seems life really does imitate art as the X Files star also plays sex-obsessed character Hank Moody on the hit TV series Californication.
