They've only been married for a few months but it seems that Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon have been bitten by the baby bug.

The pair – who got together when Nick guest starred in one of Mariah's videos – are reportedly already working on their first sprog.

Mariah's onlookers tongues wagging when she was visibly packing more of a stomach than usual during a performance in Hong Kong recently.

One eyewitness tells Life & Style, “Mariah looked great, but she seemed to have put on a few pounds. Maybe she’s pregnant - or at least planning on it!”

A friend added, “They’ve been trying during their travels, and Mariah has seen her ob-gyn several times recently in California, and not just for check-ups.

"She’s talking to her doctor about pregnancy and what to expect.”
