Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Courtney Cox and Leonardo Dicaprio are among the Hollywood A-listers urging Americans to get out and vote in a new puplic service video.

The Five Friends announcement repeatedly asks people to register and vote but also to encourage five friends to do the same.

Other stars appearing on the video are Dustin Hoffman, Demi Moore, Sarah Silverman, Jonah Hill, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Linney, Natalie Portman, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Kyra Sedgwick and will.i.am.

Leonardo starts the clip using reverse psychology, saying to camera: "Please - just don't vote."

But the stars soon twist the message, insisting that voting is the only way to effect change.
