Britney Spears is reportedly embroiled in a bidding war with a porn website to prevent an alleged sex tape she made with ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib becoming public property.

According to a pal, the singer is willing to pay almost anything to prevent their intimate encounter from hitting the web.

The singer would rather Adnan not see a dime but is prepared to cough up to keep the tape from surfacing.

Claims that a pornography site is offering $5 million for the tape reportedly have the Spears camp sweating.

“Her lawyers have been working overtime," the Spears insider tells The Sun.

"They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the Internet.”

Brit's ex told Heat earlier this week, “There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries.

"Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”
