Super singleton Jennifer Aniston wishes that men were more like excitable dogs.

Jen's confession that the perfect pooch would be better company than any man she's dated comes after her recent split with John Mayer.

She says, "It wouldn't be bad if, when a man comes home, he'd run to his woman with his tail wagging.

"This sort of excitement is something I've always missed in a man to be honest."

Jen has dated a string of men, including Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer, since the break-up of her marriage to Brad Pitt.
