This weekend saw the girls strutting their stuff on the dance floor in spectacular style.

They had to dance either the Salsa or the Foxtrot and each pair showed they had mastered their dance routines with elegance.

At the end of Saturday’s show it looked like Jessie Wallace would be the first female celebrity to leave the show after she performed the salsa with her partner, receiving disappointing scores from the judges.

Cherie and James were the pair who impressed the judges the most with Arlene declaring that she was going “to give Austin Heely a run for his money.”

Yet the second instalment of the weekend changed everything as the two pairs facing the dreaded dance off were; Gillian and her partner Anton and Jodie and her partner Bruno.

Both pairs danced amazingly making huge improvements from their first attempt at fancy footwork.

Yet it was Jodie and Bruno who the judges unanimously decided had made the most improvements, earning them a place in next week’s competition.
