Photos of Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn breastfeeding new daughter Maddie remain AWOL after going astray at a U.S. store.

Jamie Lynn's fiance and baby-daddy Casey Aldridge snapped the private moment between mother and daughter at a family get together, reported a U.S. magazine

According to Star, he took the pictures to be developed at a local Wal-Mart where they miraculously disappeared.

Federal authorities and the family's lawyers have gotten involved in the search for the missing pictures, which could result in jail time for the thief.

The offender faces pornography charges as well as theft because Jamie Lynn is still a child under American law.
