Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Bruce Willis will be among a host of celebrities who will pay their respects to Paul Newman at a charity gala for the late actor's California kids camp The Painted Turtle.

The stars will perform a stage reading of The World of Nick Adams, an adaptation of a number of Ernest Hemingway's autobiographical stories, written by Paul's longtime pal A.E. Hotchner.

Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, and Danny Devito will also take the stage at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, California on 27 October to remember the screen legend. 

Warren Beatty, Annette Bening and Billy Crystal are also said to be joining the memorial.
