Amy Winehouse's recent behaviour has pals so concerned for her health and well-being that they are refusing to leave her alone.

The soul singer - who recently stood up friends and family at her own birthday bash - seems to be on a path of self destruction leaving fans disappointed and friends concerned.

A friend tells The Sun, "No one wants to leave Amy on her own — she's in a very fragile state at the moment.

"Her most loyal friends are terrified she is going to do something which she can't overcome.

"She's been to hell and back already but some fear she’s going to get worse before she gets better."

Amy also admitted to the paper, "I can't believe what has happened to me. I am so sad."

The Winehouse saga continues after Amy allegedly thumped dancer Sherene Flash last week.
