Lindsay Lohan is reportedly so concerned about her father Michael's 'out of control' behaviour that she is seeking to take out an order of protection against him.

Following their very public war of words over Samantha Ronson, Lindsay is said to be so fed up with Michael's back-stabbing and interference in her life that she has involved the law in her family affairs.

"Lindsay is taking out an order of protection. He's behaving so erratically that she's terrified he'll do something to her," a source tells the New York Post.

"She's contacted her lawyer to arrange this."

According to the reports, Lindsay's younger sister Ali and mum Dina already have orders placed against their blabbermouth dad.

Lindsay recently said that she thinks her dad should be on medication after he commented on her girlfriend Samantha's toilet hygiene.
