Nicole Kidman's Secret To A Skinny Pregnancy

Nicole Kidman reckons puts her trim figure during and after her pregnancy down to her lofty height

The actress - who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July -  reckons her 5ft 10 ½ inch frame stopped her from piling on the baby weight.

Nicole tells The Australian Women's Weekly, "I'm so lucky I'm so tall, so I carried small. Also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labour that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard."

The Aussie star reportedly suffered two miscarriages while married to Tom Cruise so was surprised to find she was expecting while filming new movie Australia in her native country.

And Nicole credits the mystical properties of the outback for her 'miracle' child.

She said, "There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.

"I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie."
